Ilaha Amirbekova Leads Landmark Healthcare Market Research Between UK and Azerbaijan

Ilaha Amirbekova, now a Leader at GALANTE PARTNERS CONSULTING, led a significant healthcare market research project focused on Azerbaijan’s health sector, initiated by the UK Department for International Trade (DIT) and launched at the JW Marriott Hotel in Baku.

At the time, Ilaha served as the Consulting Lead at PwC Azerbaijan, where she directed the research initiative in collaboration with Monish Arora, Director of Healthcare Industry & Practice Advisory at PwC Russia. Under Ilaha’s leadership, the team conducted an in-depth analysis of the healthcare environment in Azerbaijan, identifying key trends, sector demands, and future opportunities for collaboration between the UK and Azerbaijan.

In her presentation during the launch event, Ilaha highlighted the critical need for investment in clinical services, healthcare infrastructure, medical education, and digital transformation. She emphasized that the changing needs of the population and post-COVID-19 realities have created space for innovative and sustainable partnerships in the healthcare sector.

The event was attended by notable figures, including Acting Minister of Health Teymur Musayev, UK Minister for Exports Graham Stuart, British Ambassador James Sharp, and Zaur Aliyev, CEO of the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance.
